Beach Bum BB is dedicated to following CDC guidelines for the safety of our employees and guests. Each rental is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized for maximum guest comfort.
May 18th Update
- Restaurants and retail will be opening. Indoor seating allowed at 50% occupancy. Outdoor seating allowed with tables 6ft apart.
May 4th Update
- Restaurants (not bars) and retail will be opening. Indoor seating allowed at 25% occupancy. Outdoor seating allowed with tables 6ft apart.
Gov. DeSantis does have restrictions on short term vacation rentals at this time and we're working with guests arriving through Phase 1 of Florida's re-opening.
May 1st Update
- Pensacola Beach is open in the morning (30-minutes before sunrise) to the evening (30-minutes after sunset). The area underneath the Pensacola Beach Pier and pavilions are not accessible.
- Leisure activities are allowed. Lazy Days Beach Rentals will continue with the beach setups and equipment.
April 28th Update
Escambia County has re-opened Pensacola Beach starting May 1. On May 1st, the beach will be open every day in the morning (30-minutes before sunrise) to evening (30-minutes after sunset).
CDC guidelines are still being enforced -groups need to be 10 people or less and maintain 6-foot social distancing between each group.
April 2nd Update
Gov. DeSantis announced a 'Stay at home' order for Florida through April 30th. Seniors and people with medical conditions need to stay home to limit exposure. Everyone else must limit personal interactions outside their home and can only go out if it’s absolutely necessary. Non-essential businesses are to close.

March 27th Update
Gov. DeSantis has suspended vacation rentals in Florida for the next 14-days- through April 10th- in an effort to keep new travelers from entering Florida. Our teams are working with incoming guests on options.

Gov. DeSantis has closed the beach for the next 13-days until their next commission meeting (April 2).
Restaurants have been ordered to close and offer carryout only.
March 17th Update
Restaurants have been ordered to operate at 50% with staggered seating. Bars have been closed for the next 30-days.
Beach Bum BB offers luxury? We realize that might sound odd but our answer is simple. Vacation should be about spending time with loved ones. If you're on the beach, enjoying the sunshine and our Emerald Coast should you really be able to tell someones "status?"
